Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met a delegation from the National Defence College, Sri Lanka at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan in Islamabad on 04th June 2026.
The delegation is visiting Pakistan as part of a foreign study tour and was briefed on Pakistan’s foreign policy priorities and key regional challenges.
The Deputy Prime Minister warmly welcomed the delegation and expressed his best wishes for a productive visit and a pleasant stay in Pakistan. He emphasized the importance Pakistan attaches to further strengthening its bilateral relations with Sri Lanka across all areas of cooperation.
The interaction reaffirmed the longstanding friendly ties between Pakistan and Sri Lanka and underscored the commitment of both countries to enhancing cooperation and mutual understanding.
